Well done to all our students who recently passed their Lau Gar Kung Fu and Kickboxing gradings!
All those weeks of training and focusing on your syllabus work has paid off and we’re pleased with how you’re all progressing.

Today we held our inter-club to give our students a chance to put into practice what they have been learning in their classes.
We saw their hard work and commitment alongside good skill and footwork which as instructors and a club is very rewarding to see.
From one of our youngest members at age 5 through to our older ones of 15 years old; display such confidence and great teamwork as well as good control and technique.
Great effort by all and we continue to work on those basic techniques on a weekly basis, looking to improve and progress as always.

Our Senior Instructor, Chris Collymore, has returned from the WAKO World Championships in Dublin as a World Champion!!
The last few months has seen him training late into the night; dedicating many hours to working on his fitness, endurance and techniques.
As many who know Chris, his commitment to the sport is second to none and is an inspiration to all those around him.
His self belief and positive mental attitude is beyond measure and with such focus towards his goal.
May we follow in your footsteps under your guidance and teachings.

His World title is in the -63kg Semi Contact category and is his second World title.
With the success of our first interclub in February and the positive feedback we received. We will be holding another internal competition just for our club members to see how you put your techniques you have learnt into practice.

Registration: 09:30, Fights start: 10:30
Fighters entry fee: £6.00
All fighters receive a medal.
Refreshements will be served.
Please be advised that we have the following dates booked for your Lau Gar Kung Fu and Kickboxing grading.
Cost of grading – £30
You will have spend the last few month going through your syllabus work with your instructors in preparation and they will decide if you are ready to be graded.
Ensure you spend time practicing what you have been taught and ask your instructor any questions you may have regarding the grading or syllabus.
Please check that you have a valid licence and inform your instructor if you require a form for a renewal.
